Typically, Dr. Hall utilizes the tumescent liposuction technique, which involves an injection of medications prior to surgery. When our liposuction surgeon performs this cosmetic surgery procedure, he will make small incisions near the operated area and insert a small hollow tube called a “cannula” to break up and suction the fat.

Oftentimes, a liposuction procedure is performed along with additional procedures, such as tummy tuck surgery (“abdominoplasty”), breast lift surgery (“mastopexy”), and/or breast augmentation (“augmentation mammaplasty”). When performed together, many times patients will achieve optimal results.
