Abdominoplasty Kansas

Abdominoplasty (also known as a "tummy tuck") is a plastic surgery procedure available from Kansas plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Hall. Durring the procedure a horizontal incision is placed just within or above the pubic area. The length of the incision depends largely on the amount of skin to be removed and is usually kept within swimsuit lines, whenever possible. During the procedure, the underlying abdominal wall is tightened by placing sutures in the strong fascia of the abdominal. Excess skin and underlying fat from the abdomen is trimmed away to complete the procedure. Women and men who have loose abdominal skin and/or a significant amount of abdominal fat that won't respond to dieting or exercise are good candidates for the abdominoplasty procedure.
